Regent Park

Regent Park website

Regent Park had an existing website originally designed by Lucy Wolden at Raspberry Graphic Design Ltd a few years ago that required revision to bring it inline with todays market standards. Although a complete redesign in the future has not been ruled out this revision includes picture case studies, a contact form and interactive brochure viewer the latter of which avoids cumbersome flash methods and instead makes full use of the jQuery framework to provide a slick, intuitive interface.

The project was completed to a tightly controlled budget and short timeframe using XHTML 1.0 Strict document standards, PHP and jQuery.

The designer of cesalanguages.com approached me to bug fix and optimise the existing form based course search on the website using my skills in PHP. The system had to take in to account date blocks, variable tuition and accommodation supplements and fees based upon the course type, location, duration and language selected. A MySQL database was utilised to make this possible - calls to the database was kept to a minimum with the code following a ‘granular’ approach using multi-dimensional arrays.

Corolla Light Town Center

Corolla Light Town Center website

Corolla Light Town Center is a busy shopping mall in North Carolina, USA. They required a fully content managed website on a small budget that would not allow for the purchase of 3rd party systems. MIC created a bespoke simple CMS that allowed the client to freely edit text, add links and upload photography with built in systems to handle image resizing and automatic link recognition.
